About the kit

This kit is the tender from our O&K Plantation loco, and is comprised of a plastic chassis and brake detail, metal wheels, and an etched body. The body can be assembled with glue or solder according to your preference.

Prototype Info

Steam locos in service on sugar cane and other crop plantations were frequently provided with tenders – often locally made – to increase fuel capacity. Our kit is inspired by these vehicles but could suit any compatible 009 loco.
