About the kit

This kit is comprised of a 3D printed plastic chassis, etched nickel silver detail parts and body. It includes brass axle bushes, Greenwich wheels and couplings.

Prototype Info

Sugar cane tramways often transported long cut cane in 2 axle skips wagon style trucks with simple corner stakes. Later ratchets were fitted to tie down the load and reduce losses. After the Second World War tramways modernised and began transporting cut cane in larger bins that were basically a frame with mesh sides, at the mill these would simply be tipped to remove their loads.

The bin measures 40mm x 20mm x 20mm.

Our kit is based upon the style of these later bins, but is of a generic design. Well suited for use behind the EuroNG O&K locomotive, or one of our industrial narrow gauge diesels.

Each pack includes enough parts to make 3 wagons.
