Prototype Info

Opened in 1904, the Brede Waterworks in East Sussex near Hastings was built to pump drinking water from wells to storage reservoirs.

An 18" gauge tramway was built to aid construction, and when finished was left in place for the transport of coal from the wharf on the River Brede to the waterworks. Four 3 ton bogie wagons were supplied, and were hauled by a small Mercedes class Bagnall saddle tank.

Postage is included for UK orders. For international orders shipping is at cost. Please note any local import duty or taxes that may be applied on delivery are the buyer's responsibility.
